SAS Airbus A320neo launch

SAS presented their new Airbus A320neo and Cookin was there, supplying everyone with food and drinks. New technology makes it possible to reduce climate impact even further. In comparison to todays A320, the A320neo is 15% more fuel efficient.  Good job SAS!

New Flow Pack Machine

We have recently purchased a new Flow Pack Machine, model Ree Flow 250 sst. This is exciting news. This machine can pack up to 60 million sandwiches a year. This will of course increase capabilities at Cookin and enable us to take on even more clients.

New client – Norwegian

We at Cookin welcome Scandinavias second largest airline Norwegian as a new client. We look forward to start this new partnership – delivering the best fresh food to their customers, fantastic fun!

The World Travel Catering Expo and Tutto Food

During spring we have attended two food expos, The World Travel Catering Expo and Tutto Food to sample new food and find inspiration. We also looked at new trends in the market and meet with new potential suppliers.

WTCE in Hamburg

In April we attended the World Travel Catering & Onboard Services Expo (WTCE) in Hamburg. We were very impressed by the exhibition and very much enjoyed seeing the current trends in the market. This year there were a lot of muffins, pizzas and oil & vinegarin individual portions. The most significant learning for us was the prevalence of ambient foods with a shelf life up to 3 months at room temperature, which is not really our style when it comes to prepared meals or baked goods. We always stay as fresh as possible, which is making others start to take notice.

New Client – Gate Gourmet

This week we are starting up with a new client, Gate Gourmet. Currently on rotation we have a pasta salad, ratatouille and a potato salad, by the kilo. We start delivering to Oslo next week and then follow up with Kastrup. Fantastic fun!
