WTCE in Hamburg

In April we attended the World Travel Catering & Onboard Services Expo (WTCE) in Hamburg. We were very impressed by the exhibition and very much enjoyed seeing the current trends in the market. This year there were a lot of muffins, pizzas and oil & vinegarin individual portions. The most significant learning for us was the prevalence of ambient foods with a shelf life up to 3 months at room temperature, which is not really our style when it comes to prepared meals or baked goods. We always stay as fresh as possible, which is making others start to take notice.
